The issue is not a lack of information. On the contrary, most programs are inundated with dashboards, reports and analytics support. The real challenge emerges after the data is reviewed. When information is fragmented or inconsistent, the decision-making process slows dramatically. Meetings become more frequent, leaders request additional versions of the numbers, and despite the abundance of reporting, meaningful progress is often stalled.
